The use of the words red and green flags are popular parlance in dating/courtship or discussions considering a person for marriage.Red for danger signs you see the person exhibit and a clue to run for your life, else if you enter and you see "horrible things" you take it like that having been warned earlier with the red flag waving in the wind on the person's head figuratively.
Green means a good thing and to keep going with said person.

From this movie they made good on making us understand that God wants marriage amazing for us however no matter how good a person be, how perfect he/she seems you have to be led of the Lord not of your desires.

2. Don't be blinded by flashy and flattery, ask the Lord to teach you what your eyes don't see.
3. God is always merciful to his children, no matter how far gone you are, if you come to him truthfully he will forgive and restore you.
4. He who covers his sin will not prosper, confess and seek help (very important).
5. Don't look to man with the adoration meant for God, you will cry big fat tears.
