3 movies, different people, same message.A good Christian lady fell from grace by getting pregnant out of wedlock, a pastor who truly loves the Lord committed adultery, they confessed their sins to God and to the church but how did the church respond?
When watching such movies we are quick to vilify the congregation with their 'holier than thou' attitude or the church leadership, parents and loved ones of such people in the movie for not showing the appropriate empathy while correcting however in real life we most often than not act the same way.
In these movies we see the way not to react and the proper way to respond practically.
Hate the sin, condemn the sin, rebuke the sin but always correct in LOVE. Stop shooting fallen soldiers, don't trample on them begin to respond as Christ will.
