MOVIES REVIEW OF THE SERIES:ABBATOIR.

Hey guys ,its been a long,long,while.

I apologise for my absence.

Welcome back.

Abbatoir is an online movie series from the mount Zion faith ministry. 

Abbatoir episode 1 was released on @DamilolamikeBamiloye's YouTube channel on the 5th of July 2020,about a year after the release of the bloopers, from the bloopers and trailer,we knew that the movie will "make sense " but with the release of the movie we were left speechless,it truly did exceed our expectations.

A little introduction:

Martin's is a young promising son of a rich politician. Whose mother is murdered right in the house,this starts the disintegration of the seemingly perfect family and life Martin has always thought he had,it is also the beginning of battles for him in his quest to find his mother's killer,get answers to his questions and find his bearing in life.

There also needs to be an unravelling of the IG's statement to his father.

Then there is school to plough through.

Fast forward to a grown Martin,we see an accomplished man who has suddenly begun to have problems,becomes unsettled, having nightmares again while his father trying to bridge their enstrangled relationship or so it seems.

Martin's father needs him,he needs him back home and he will stop at nothing to bring him back including bringing a "doctor "(that knows his onions),Clara (that knows secondary school work,but cannot solve elementary problems,'I know my worth'lady).

When he makes room for God,he is used In many beautiful and amazing works.

But something goes wrong,then terribly wrong.

There,We've attempted to summarize the 6 episodes without letting the cat out of the bag. Hope we succeeded?

Now on to the cast. 

Did anyone notice Kayode Owojori fitting into the character "bad guy"chief Sanya,unlike his usual pastor,benevolent castings in other movies ? 

Young Martin's did a good job of playing the hurt ,confused young boy and his friend 

Victor adding some spice to the show,from announcing his minor crises being the implication of his dad complimenting his voice,to sleeping under a car,wonder how he got there.

Baba Gbenro(Baba for the win),big Martins,Dele,Clara,IG Gbade all came to the table with their A game.

We must confess this episodes have been humorous,captivating,thrilling and suspense filled,with lots and lots of lessons to be learnt.Every episode leaves you excited and expectant almost impatient for the next one.

Through this series,we've laughed,almost cried,shouted,screamed,sat on the edges of our seats,and a host of other reactions, but it had always ended with going back to God crying "My life must always make a good difference,always be the blessing it should be ,always influence my sphere,always be for your glory and never,ever be an abbatoir(a slaughterhouse where people's lives and destinies are killed ,butchered,destroyed).

As I've said earlier there are so many lessons to Learn

Lessons 

1.Nobody has it all put together and perfect ,the person you are wishing you were like is facing more difficulties than you can imagine.

2.we all have different problems,crises,but that does not mean we should demean people who are going through less,on the other hand we should also be grateful for where God has placed us, some are experiencing greater issues.All in all we should learn to move forward. 

3.All that glitters is not gold,it might look like it but it isn't, as regards to IG's girlfriend.

4.Hatred can cause a lot and cost us a lot. This is seen in the life of the lead actor.The offences against us might be grevious but as people who have seen the light we should handle it better,hatred,bitterness,resentment,unforgiveness destroys.

5.The place of spiritual MENTORSHIP,discipleship cannot be over emphasized, this disciples will always have your back in prayers,counsel,and many other things ,how baba Gbenro stood in for Martins,wow.

6.The place of the word of God is important ,yielding to the word does amazing things to ones life ,it transformed Dele,helped in many instances,paved way for forgiveness.

7.As a Christian you must always be careful if you think you stand ,you might be flat on your face on the floor.Be humble before God.

8.You must be connected to the power source,remain there till you are fully empowered only then can you go out and be fully effective and efficient.

9.The devil will not stop trying to get at us,if he fails ,he just looks for another manipulative and persuasive way,we must always be on our guard

10. When the devil wants to "finish" a man ,he isolates him from the covering of believers and fellowship with God and his people.
