IBIDAMIPE

IBIDAMIPE

First of all this movie is all in yoruba (but it is subtitled).
This movie set is a typical Yoruba culture, with their iro and buba attire, dance steps to talking drums, long eulogies to announce and welcome the king abiyesi),different delicacies. Simply put it's like a sneak peek into what the yoruba culture is all about.

😁😁I know a lot of you are like "ok, we've heard get on with it already. what's the movie about?"
A certain land was troubled, nothing was going on well, the farmlands were not producing, the livestocks were dying, children were coming down with one illness or disease, just think of anything bad that can happen in a land, yuuup any of such was obtainable there.
When consultations were made, it was reported that the solution will be a certain pregnant woman (not of that land ) who will give birth to a baby and that child will be the messiah.
Boom!!! the whole village united to search for this woman and she was finally found(it was not like it was easy like that oo)
Now imagine the care she was receiving, I dare say that she was  like the most important and precious person of  that land.
Only for this 'Aunty' to start putting herself at risk and in harms way, as of I should enter and slap her ?
"Ma do you want to loss this baby nai?"
Then that's how ..... go and watch what happened 😁

Guys this movie can be summarized as one thing - purpose and fulfilling it.
It was like a stepwise approach to what purpose is and all it contains.
I pray God gives you understanding as you watch this.
Honestly no much talk today,it is better watched.

Continue to enjoy June and have yourselves and amazing weekend.

P.s this movies is long oo like 2hrs+, so make out ample time.
