MOVIE RECCOMENDATION:LOVE PRISON .
Hi guys,how are you all doing,how was your week,how have you enjoy the acclaimed "love month"?
So today ehhhhhhh I have sweet gist.
Guys this movie lovd prison hmmmmm.
It is a production of GACEM international,written and directed by Adeniyi Famewo.
The movie sets on a couple, fine Christians who just got married and problems started right from the wedding night when the husband found out that his looked foward to and very anticipated wedding night was not all he hoped it would be.
"Oga" comes back from honey moon and realizes that he and his department is being investigated for fraud.
Haaaa, as if that's not enough someone is beating uncle in his sleep every night (very intresting stuff).
His wife on the other hand is struggling to get her husband to listen to her,handle her mother's failing health while harbouring a deep resentment towards someone(worthy of note).
That is how oooo this new home was just moving from one problem to the other,while the previous ones were still unresolved.
The biggest one, barely a month into marriage oga had an affair,you would think that is the crux of the matter abi? for where !
There is more.
So I don't spill all the juices go and watch it,be sure to grab your popcorn,sit well and watch this movie because it promises to be a roller coaster of a ride.
My reaction while watching this movie was "ahhhhh",then a bigger "ahhhhhhh".That was all I kept shouting.
The suspense was real!
I kept trying to understand who is causing what,why so many issues?
Wummi Olatunde and Seun Adejumobi killed their part,they were amazing,I love how they interpreted their roles.
The sweet thing is that It all comes together at the end.
What did I learn ?
1.This marriage thing is not joke oo. It is not for the fainthearted,it is not an easy journey.
It is work.
2. Nothing,no amount of preparation can ever get you completely ready for all you will experience or face in marriage. You just enter with God.
3. Are you entering into marriage with the premonition of "checking out" when the going gets tough ? Ask your self sincerely.(truthfully I felt like leaving a lot of times if I was the lady in the movie )
4. Forgiveness in marriage.
This is a whole pot of soup we can not finish eating.
Guys enter into marriage with "plenty heart" to forgive, because you will be wronged, from the small petty offences to the really grave "I feel like killing you" offences.
You know, I used to say there were some offences I will absolutely not take in marriage, as per the hard limit offences for me, but after watching this movie all I could think was "Lord have mercy". Honestly If you are not ready to forgive don't marry.
It is hard to have your trust broken,to be betrayed, so hard.
I think we need to start asking God to work on any unfogivness,malice,grudge tendencies in us.
Honestly, if you truthfully watch this movie you might shed a tear or two, but you will definitely end it with begging God for mercy.
My marriage must not fail Lord.
