ONE STREET ONE SOUND
Written produced and directed by Adeola Jerry Oluwagbemi
This movie is two things: addictions and the end of life (sorry no spoilers,so that's all you get 😁)
Jummy is a young lady struggling with the sin of masturbaton, sexting and fornication.
As regards the above mentioned, they are sins that have taken a seat in the church pews as a member and is plaguing teenagers, youths and even older people. In a bid to fufill the "no sex before marriage" pact that is expected of all Christians many young unmarried Christian's find other way to relieve sexual tension through masturbation with the self justification of "well I'm not committing sin with anybody ". By so doing many single Christian man or woman have become tangled in their own lustful thoughts and desires and have sought this options as outlets. This addiction is real and is destroying many abeit silently.
This movie gives insight into what the addiction causes, how it takes over a man and what it costs such man, but most important it also shares help on how to break free.
For a while now the church has shyed away from talking about the other forms of sexual sin thay are plaguing youths, threatening their sexual purity and have dwelt on just fornication and adultery(still very important things to talk on ooo), I have to commend the writer for taking a bold step to writing and acting it out.
I also have to give it to the writer (inspired by the holy spirit of course) that this script was superb, real and very down to earth.
The casting went all out, they were all into the characters and gave their best and the theme song (you have to go download it ) is amazing.
You might start watching this movie on your seat but will definitely end it on your knees begging God for mercy and grace.
In conclusion nothing(porn, maturbation, drugs), nobody is worth exchanging for your relationship with God and life with him thereafter, so let go of all (crush all) that hinders you from running and run this race looking up to Jesus. He is more exhilarating than a thousand episodes of ecstasy that any addiction can promise.
In all you do,make sure you watch this movie.
God's richest blessings.
